A very popular analogy of our relationship with God is marriage. In fact, one of the main reasons why God instituted human marriage in Genesis was to point to the ultimate marriage of Christ and the church. As followers of Christ, we are the bride who will one day take part in the great wedding of the Lamb (Rev. 19 and 21).
