Israel thought they could disrespect and disregard the commands of God and use the Ark of the Covenant as a superweapon in war. Well, God punished them severely. We would do well to learn from their mistakes and not play with the Lord. He is faithful to His promises; He is holy; He is superior, but He is also merciful.
