In Scripture, God always gave enough information that could be obeyed. We cannot be expected to obey a “extra-special” command of God if it is unclear. Scripture provides no examples of God speaking in subtle, internal hints that must be deciphered. God doesn’t try to communicate to us and fail (Is. 55:10-11).
