In Phil. 2:14-15, Paul said that we are to "do everything without grumbling or arguing." Does this means we are to never express discontent on any given subject? Are we to never discuss our differences? What type of "grumbling or arguing" is Paul referring to? Given the contextual clues, Paul seemed to have the ancient Israelite wilderness wanderings in view. Perhaps the kind of complaining Israel expressed in the wilderness is the type of complaining we are to avoid today.
