Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 2:1-2
A Son Born King

Jesus, the Messiah, was prophesized in the Old Testament in many places. In Isaiah 9:6-7, the Messiah is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. What do these names mean? Most notably, how can Jesus be the Prince of Peace when there is so much chaos in the world? Also, Jesus said that He did not come to bring peace, but a sword (Mt. 10:34-35); how do we reconcile this passage? What do we mean by "Peace"?
